Gabriel A. Kasabdji
—Co-Founder and CEO of InterStock
Born in Venezuela and raised in Miami since the age of four, Gabriel Kasabdji comes from a family with deep roots in Aleppo, Syria. His journey has been anything but conventional. Growing up, he attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, where he faced the challenges of being an outsider, choosing to follow his own path rather than conform to the crowd.
From launching a YouTube channel to pursuing water polo in an all-boys school and refusing to engage in drinking or smoking, his differences often made him a target of bullying. Despite these struggles, Gabriel found strength within himself. His lowest point in high school nearly led to collapse, but with the unwavering support of his mother, he turned his life around. His perseverance was recognized when he received the Most Improved Student Award from Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, an eye-opening moment that proved anything is possible, even against the odds.
Gabriel was raised in a family where both sides were successful business owners in real estate, investing, and technology. This environment motivated him to chase the dream of becoming an entrepreneur. From a young age, he was taught that success is built on tremendous sacrifice, dedication to everything you do, and mastering the art of never giving up. These lessons shaped his relentless work ethic.
Gabriel continued his academic journey at Florida International University (FIU), pursuing a degree in International Business. Unlike most college students, he wasn't drawn to the typical social scene; instead, he focused on shaping his future. His passion for financial markets was sparked by his uncle, who introduced him to investing and the freedom it could provide. This fascination led to an internship at Ocean Bank’s Wealth Management Division, where he was mentored by Guillermo, a guide who taught him the intricate workings of stocks, bonds, and commodities.
With this newfound knowledge, Gabriel, alongside his brother, co-founded InterStock, a financial education program designed to bridge the gap for students who lack access to quality financial mentorship. As a co-founder of InterStock, Gabriel’s vision extends beyond Miami. He dreams of connecting with students worldwide, spreading financial literacy, and empowering young minds with the tools to secure their financial future. He firmly believes that no dream is too big and nothing will deter him from working toward that goal.
InterStock is more than an education platform. It is a movement fueled by the belief that giving back is essential. Raised with strong morals and principles, Gabriel and his team have committed to philanthropy, starting with donations to their alma mater, Belen Jesuit, and setting their sights on greater initiatives to support underprivileged students.
Under Gabriel’s leadership, InterStock has partnered with five schools, delivering real-world financial education to students. The program’s success stories continue to grow, from alumni securing internships at Merrill Lynch to students helping their families make better investment decisions and seeing positive returns. Seeing the direct impact of financial education fuels Gabriel’s passion even further.

—Co-Founder and CEO of InterStock
Christian E. Kasabdji is the Co-Founder of InterStock, a financial education program dedicated to teaching middle and high school students about investing and the stock market. He has been passionate about finance since first discovering the stock market in 9th grade at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School. A simple news article showcasing the market’s biggest winners and losers sparked his curiosity, leading him down a path of research, trading, and continuous learning.
Christian’s fascination with the complexities and intricacies of the stock market soon turned into a deep passion for financial research, specifically in areas such as options, stocks, and bonds. Driven by curiosity and determination, he immersed himself in analyzing financial instruments and market dynamics, continually refining his skills and knowledge.
Determined to gain hands-on experience, Christian started reading earnings reports, analyzing stock charts, and eventually opening his own brokerage account. Over the years, his deep involvement in the market helped him develop expertise in stocks and options trading, reinforcing his belief that financial education should be accessible to students at an early age.
Motivated by this vision, he co-founded InterStock to give students the opportunity he wished he had growing up. Today, InterStock has partnered with prestigious schools such as Carrollton, Belen, Columbus, La Salle, and Doral Academy, reaching nearly 200 students annually. The program recently introduced an advanced class designed for students eager to explore complex trading strategies.
Christian’s greatest achievements go beyond numbers; he values the positive feedback from parents and professionals in the hedge fund industry, reaffirming the impact of his work. His primary focus is ensuring that every student receives the best possible learning experience, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to grow.
InterStock also gives back by donating a portion of its revenue to the schools it partners with, supporting their educational needs and initiatives. Christian is currently pursuing a Finance degree at Florida International University, where he has been on the Dean’s List every year while managing InterStock. He graduated from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in 2021 as a member of the National Science Honor Society.
